Feature Request: Add the ability to pin specific conversations in the Activity section so important project updates remain visible. This would prevent key threads from getting buried and reduce the need to scroll or expand older activity history.

Pinning threads or task comments to the new side bar (UI 4.0) would be fantastic too.

I remember there used to be a way for this in 2.x where the comment would remain at the top either by marking it as priority or pinning I cannot remember which but it was a super cool feature that disappeared during the 2.x - 3.x transition please can it be brought back I really would not like to add extra field to pin or stuff like that when a pin task feature could have worked amazingly well especially for those 1 or 2 comments

Would love to have pinned comments. I understand the work around is putting the comment in the Description, but whoever updates that would also need to make sure to put their name and date of the update...and you can't always count on folks to remember to include those details.

Plus, the important note can often change over time, so every time you'd have to update the description to delete the old and copy/paste the new....and don't forget to up the name and date/time!

If you could easily pin and unpin comments, this would take a fraction of the time rather than updating the description.

I would request that pinned comments features be added soon so that important comments can be easily found.

Another cool thing would be to be able to "Highlight" comments!

Sometimes in tasks a comment is super important to be noticed. So you'd have the option to make it sticky or highlight it or both!

Would absolutely LOVE pinned comments. This would really help after a task get's so much activity to put the important stuff at the top.

Descriptions are great for the details of what the task is about, the activity is great for actions that have been taken on the task. Sometimes those actions need to be seen by everyone or every time the task is opened.
