Permissions at the view level

From Support: It would be nice if we could have specific views. like the Gantt View, and lock down certain permissions there.

Yes, we need this. People should be allowed to create specific views with restricted permissions.

It would be great to be able to share a table with our client that we have multiple projects going with to have a live up-to-date status at any time. However, we don't want the client to have assess to our entire space that includes all of our projects.

Please clickup. Fix your permission issues...!

This is desperately needed! Our use case: Scheduled staff meetings. Permissions at the view level would allow us to use a single list for all meetings, with each staff member being able to view (only) the meetings (and meeting/discussion points and feedback) relevant to themselves/their view. Admins would have complete overview of every meeting, very nicely consolidated in a single list, with a 'master view' with filters to show all scheduled staff meetings chronologically (using date/time column sorting). With recurring meeting links saved to tasks this becomes a collaborative powerhouse. BRING IT ON! (Please! 🙏🥺)
It seems odd that there is permissions on tasks, but not views 🤷♂️
It would also be invaluable on the client side (and a feature that would significantly upgrade the UX on the client side), as others have indicated in this thread.

We would like to share read only access for a specific view in a list to external partners. We do not want to share any of the other views associated with the list.

Cass Chan is this being executed anywhere? I thought I'd be able to make certain views public for Guests and others exclusive to another set of users, looks like I'm mistaken. If that's the case, will call for a significant workaround to my folder.

Adding this ability removes the need for redundant lists of the same information. It allows the list owners to manage their work in one area, while controlling access based on certain filter criteria through views.

I want my client to only have access to one view, which has been specially configured for him. Clients should not have access to the other views.
This is a terrible limitation of Clickup! :(

I do not want to overwhelm my clients with all the stuff we have going on the back end. Or have them see some of the mess. This would help me give them just the info they need to collaborate

We'd love this as well, especially when we're trying to bring guests into the projects. It would theoretically be easier/faster to setup views that they can see, rather than going through the ordeal of building dashboards. Docs is about the easiest thing to share at the moment. We just moved from Teamwork where you could setup default privacy to the company and then open it up to others as needed which would also be a nice feature.
