Paste images in forms
Jessie Mason
I would like to paste screenshots, etc. inline in form fields (task description or attachment) rather than saving the image and adding it as an attachment.

You can paste images directly into form fields like task descriptions or notes in many modern platforms by using the copy-and-paste function from your clipboard, allowing screenshots or images to appear inline without the need to save and attach them separately; this approach streamlines documentation and keeps relevant visuals immediately visible, similar to how resources or examples are often linked for reference, such as http://www.busimulatorultimateapk.com.

+1 from my side as well.
We are also using forms as an entry point for tickets (especially for non-technical users), and the inability to paste screenshots directly into the form makes the process unnecessarily complex.
Having to take a screenshot, save it locally, and then upload it is a clear barrier for users. In practice, this often results in missing context or lower-quality tickets, which slows down resolution time.
Being able to simply copy-paste screenshots inline would significantly improve usability, adoption, and overall efficiency.
This would be a huge win for teams using ClickUp as a ticketing system.

I would like to join the previous comments in this thread, as this is a decisive factor for us in our evaluation of ClickUp as an IT ticketing system.
Within our organization, we want to use forms via a public link, so that end users can easily submit tickets. In practice, however, we notice that a large part of these tickets contain screenshots. Today, users must first save them to their device and then attach them, which is cumbersome and time-consuming.
This regularly leads to frustration and resistance among users. The ability to paste screenshots directly into the text field (e.g. via copy-paste) would be a huge improvement. It would make ticket submission faster, more intuitive and more user-friendly, while increasing the quality of notifications by making visual context easier to share.
For us, this functionality would be an important argument for effectively choosing ClickUp as a central IT ticketing platform.
We therefore hope that this feature will be considered or made available soon.

That would definitely make reporting issues faster and clearer, especially when explaining steps or errors visually. Being able to paste images directly inline, similar to how LemPlates https://lemplates.com/ discussions sometimes include quick visual references, would make task descriptions much more efficient.

+1 We use forms to standardize our bug reporting process and keep it unified across teams. Some people don't have access to the lists to modify the tasks and add their own screenshots, so you can imagine how inefficient it is to have to save and drag+drop screenshots.

So this feature is not available yet? I think it should be develop. I just created a form for the first time, and thought it would work naturally, and the screenshot we pasted will appear on the Task Description automatically. It will be a game changing feature!

Seriously, this would be huge. We use Clickup for ticketing.
I keep getting pushed by my C-level to use JIRA instead of Clickup because they hate the inefficiency of having to save and image and upload instead of copy + paste into Descriptions on forms.

Hi,
Pasting images directly in the form would save my team soooo much time. Currently people are not bothering to use some forms because of this reason.
It would also help in making comments easier to know what they are relating to instead of having a bunch of attachments.

Adding a vote for this! We are trying to recreate a bug form and totally agree that supporting pasting in images will make it far more likely people will share screenshots. Otherwise, it is a multi-step process (take screenshot > save as a file to a directory > find/upload file), and one that many people either won't know or won't bother to do. Thanks for considering.

Hello,
To be able to paste screenshot directly on the form would be a huge time saving.
We're 150 in our company using Clickup daily and we are obliged to wait for the creation of the ticket to edit it and put the screenshots.
You can assume the time saving this feature can bring us.
Thanks for your understanding,
Youssef
