Password protected public view (List, task, form)

Hi team,
The release of public view sharing for different entities is opening up a lot of options.
To had a simple security rather than just "anyone with the link", could you add an option to password protect the links? I know it's not as secure as a guest login and I can go that route but it's a simple way to control who accesses the data without the extra hassle.

Do we have an update on this? I feel that Public Views are massively overcomplicated when they don't need to be re sharing/permissions/attachments/clips etc.
Would this post https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/attachments-and-clips-urls-behind-workspace-authorization be simpler if we could just password protect public links
and also allow publicly sharing dashboards with a password https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/support-publicly-shared-dashboards.
Am I missing something? It can't be just me that's really confused by all the variables.

100% agreed. There needs to be a mechanism to protect internal forms, dashboards, etc rather than having to just post them on the open internet.

This is a basic feature on all other platforms (ex: Monday), I don't know why it's not already present in ClickUp...

So true, this is definitely a useful feature! I noticed the SmartSuite app heddles this pretty well. ClickUp should follow their lead.
