We sometimes convert subtasks to parent tasks if we realize that they will be more in-depth than originally thought. When we do, we manually create a relationship between the original and new tasks to keep them associated for project management and reporting. It would be great if:

a. During the conversion, there was an option to create that relationship, or

b. Converting a subtask to a parent task was triggered by automation, so an automation can be created to reflect the relationship.
