Only send notification for a specific status change

It would be useful if we can add a notification just for an specific status for example Done. We need task creator to receive just the Done status chnage rathen than all task status changes as it is anoying. I don't think an automation can be used here as there no tag for @createdby and if we create an automation adding a comment with @watchers, it doesn't solve the problem as the watchers as well are receiving all task changes

There are only options to receive notifications when a task's status changes, or when it is assigned to you etc.
It would be very useful to have a drop-down conditional option underneath these so that one could select something like, "Receive a notification when a task's status changes (maybe even to a specific status or statuses), AND also the task is already assigned to me"
Conditional notifications like this would allow only relevant notifications through, in large workspaces where many tasks change status, and one would only want to be notified about the tasks assigned to them.

As an alternative to being a watcher, I wish there was a checkbox on a task to notify me when the task is completed. This would be helpful for specific tasks (as opposed to changing my notification settings overall) when all I want to know is when it's done, not all of the chatter along the way.

It would be rather helpful being able to have watchers monitor only certain statuses, so specific teams or users could be alerted when something enters their column.
To explain further: our statuses are strongly tied to departments. So if something enters "Design" it would be good to let the designer/s know, if something enters "Review" it would be good to let the reviewing seniors know, and so on.
