It would be great is we could set a notification for a date that is in a custom field.

Just in case anyone stumbled on this and was wondering. When setting up the trigger instead of selecting "custom field changes", scroll down or add "Date custom field arrives" to trigger an automation

Hope this could be done soon. Really need to be able to set an automation/reminder for when a Date Custom Field or Date Formula Field arrives or something so it'll be easier.

Totally agree, with projects that are in the idea stage, and we will go back to then any time soon, the DUE date is the only one to send notification.

let's make this as soon as possible cause it has been requested since 2019

me and my team have like 5 custom dates that we need to manually change on the task's due date to receive the notifications

I'm finding myself incredibly frustrated with Clickup. I think I have about 10 different votes for basic needs. Any design work is going to need multiple due dates. If design is something that Clickup features then this has to happen ASAP.

This is a very necessary feature as our projects don't just have 1 date that designers need reminded about. As a project goes through the cycle, there are many different projects that require follow ups or additional due dates.
