No obvious way to display pages sidebar for a doc

The only way I've found to display the pages sidebar is by clicking on the add page button in the top left of a document window.
Unsurprisingly, this adds another page, when what I wanted to do is access the search in document feature (magnifying glass). Adding a page should be available within the sidebar, of course. Now, I have to delete the blank new page.
Even more importantly, the search within the document feature doesn't work: when I click on the magnifying glass icon, and enter a search term, it is not found and highlighted in the document.
I'm using the ClickUp 4 interface.

Having a keyboard shortcut that toggles the display of the left and right sidebars would also be very helpful.
Ideally, IMO, the same keyboard shortcut for toggling sidebars will work on all views that have sidebars (docs, tasks, planner)

This seems to be linked to how many pages are in the document. Pages can be any length, near as i can tell. Not having a quick way to search within a single page document without first adding a page (and then deleting it) isn't effective.
IMO, there should be a consistent way of expanding and collapsing the doc page sidebar. Ideally, mirroring how the sidebar on the right can be opened and closed.
