New Trigger: Time in Status Duration
future

I'd like to have an automation that is triggered by the time in a status. For example: When task has been in Review status for 5 days, add tag.
Another example for user support: When task is In Progress status for 10 days, send email template.

Hey everyone, I’m excited to share with you all that we’ve officially shipped the Time in Status condition!
While I know this doesn’t cover everything you’re looking for just yet, we hope it helps save you time as we continue working toward building the Trigger in the future.Thank you for your patience and support!
I will change the status of this Feature Request to "Future" as I am aware we have NOT shipped the main ask here for making this a trigger 🙏
Please continue to vote and comment on this feature if this is a critical workflow blocking need from you. At the end of the day, we shape our roadmaps around the most impactful asks from the community!

Add "time in the status" as trigger

Our case : we want to send a message to current assignees when the status doesn't change for a long time.
Proposed solution : add the trigger based on the time spent in the status (with duration settings)

It would be great if you can add an option to make an automation based on Time in Status , for example to automatically change ticket to Status Closed after 14 days in Status Completed - would be very useful

If the Time in Status for "To Do" reaches 30 minutes or more, trigger an email notification with the message "SLA has been breached" and change in Status

Zach - ClickUp looks like this feature (#2 or parts of it) have already been deployed. Can you approve?
I found myself creating a scheduled trigger with condition "if status is [in review]" adding "if time in status is | greater than | 56 hours".
That's nice.
However I don't understand the calculation of hours. Maybe you can shed some light on it.
When I enter "1w" for 1 week, it writes 56 hours which is 7*8 hours - are only working hours 8 per day counted? However when I set this up, this "1 week" aka 56 hours trigger already triggers on Monday morning when something has been put into the status on Friday, which looks more like real hours and only the UI is broken.
Since the currently shipped feature doesn't allow me to select the status I'm interested in, is it always "time in the current status" and I have to filter on that beforehand like I did?
Thanks a lot

Karsten Silkenbäumer: The natural language input for numbers is assuming that if you put one day that equals eight hours.I can see why this is a bit confusing though - thanks for reporting.
Just to clarify, does the actual feature work for you? And this is a small, annoying issue when you're trying to set it up?
Thank you
Karsten Silkenbäumer
Zach - ClickUp : yes, the feature in general seems to work (will have to test the proper hours with a demo task though), if I put the real hours (not working hours) in the field, so 168 for a week. I know it how to set up, but everyone else will probably fall into this trap again.
Thank you for asking

Zach - ClickUp what if I don't see the ClickApp option at all in one of my Workspaces, while the global ClickApp is enabled?

I like the idea of if status is X and time in status is X hours/days then trigger X. So basically:
If Status is Stuck (for example) and Time in Status is 4 Days -> Then Add A Comment

#1 is what we need

No. one is what we're after. Number two is also useful, but only a bit LOL
