I wonder if the "Save" button is needed when creating a new Task in List View. I just created a new Task, assigned a Due-date and a Team member, and then submitted a couple feature requests based on my experience. I must have forgotten to click Save, as when I returned to the Project I couldn't find the task.
For me it would be fine if a new Task created in List View saved automatically. Then we could remove the Save button from this view.

Waleed Elaghil: I don't understand how this is complete. I just hit the plus button in the top right of the app, wrote a ton of notes in the description, picked a priority and changed the list but forgot to press Save, and lost everything. Is there at least a way to recover drafts or something yet?

This would be really helpful. I have found the reliability of saving comments / messages in Clickup to be patchy and this week alone have lost 5 long comments which is VERY frustrating.
Autosave for comments would be great

Waleed Elaghil: It does not seems solved. The save button is there in the list view, but you have to press it (or press enter) to really save the task.
I'm not used to this behaviour of clicking on 'save', not anymore since drive or other cloud interfaces got us used to write without worring about saving.
Unfortunately, even if I know it, with the 'save' mechanic, I loose task every now and then. It's very frustrating.

For me, it seems 'save' is not required in list view but 'save' is required for 'board' view (for both desktop app and web versions). I'm in the process of moving over to clickup from multiple sources. I just realized I wasted a good amount of time yesterday due to not clicking 'save' when I thought I was creating new tasks by hitting 'enter' key on keyboard but evidently I did not click save for many tasks I created. This is inconsistent from creating tasks in list view which makes it easy to forget to 'save' from board view. Unfortunately I deleted some of that info from the other sources and am attempting to recreate from memory and other sources now.

I'd love this feature as well. I'm a brand new user and not having this feature is already causing pain. Love this tool so far though.

Unfortunately, I've lost at least two important tasks recently due no auto save. When I'm having to take notes quickly and I have to bounce from one task to another, it's a nightmare when I forget to click save. It would be so helpful to have this.
