New functionality for "Enter" when editing comments
complete
If "Use CMD + Enter to send comments" is enabled, I _only_ want "CMD + Enter" to submit or edit the comment. When I hit "Enter", I'd want a new line to be created.

There is an option now provided under 'My settings' that allows you to change the default behaviour to move to a new line on pressing enter, and using cmd+enter for posting the comment.

Ashi Anand: can you be more specific and tell us the whole path to get there ?? because settings is petty big!

thank, guys. SHIFT+ENTER works pretty well. It was so roughly until I google the solution

Yeah I'd like the option for enter to create a new line rather than having to press Shift + Enter. When I comment in ClickUp, it's most often a fleshed out comment rather than a mere IM message and thus I'd rather just press the "Comment" button with my mouse.

Civility please. Shift+enter is Slack and Teams as well. But they support both crtl or shift + enter...

Totally agree on this. This feature is much needed.

Enter key should bring a new line in commenting. Please make it default.

I noticed this is marked as completed, but it doesn't seem to be working. At least not on my PC. Is this for Apple only? Thanks
Never mind I figured it out. You have to hold the Shift+Enter.

definitely - Enter should create a new line within the comment - just like Word
