My Work + Calendar view
Albert D.
It would be great help to have calendar view for Inbox: users would be able to plan both their priorities & time.
Right now it is impossible to plan time - you simply don't have such a view.
Calendar view is available in individual lists. It is easy to book plan multiple tasks in the same slot because you don't have a single consolidated view of your calendar across multiple lists.

Joey the calendar view is soo slow. I have 5-7 Tasks per Week, but it takes 30-70(!!) seconds to load. Even the Google Events loads faster, than the Tasks from CU. Pleeeease work on faster and better Calendar-View. iPhone 14 and iPad newest Gen.

Just got upgraded to 3.0 (nice). But where's the new My Work view? 😩

It would also be great if with one click I could view a team member's workload/tasks.
Another suggestion: Allow the user to move blocks around. e.g. move unscheduled tasks higher up similar to blocks on the dashboards.

I need to be able to see not just what day I scheduled a task, but how much time I estimated so that I can plan my day/week/month. I would like all my tasks to be dumped in each day’s Task Bank. Then I could go through it and drag each task to a time slot. If I had too many or too few tasks time-wise on a certain day, I could move tasks to/from other days as needed. I would like to be able to do this on both a daily and weekly calendar view.
Currently, the My Work list doesn’t show the estimated time. When I drag a 15-minute task from it to the calendar, the calendar blocks off one full hour instead of 15 minutes. When I drag a 2-hour task, it only blocks off one hour. It would be better if it both showed the estimated time in My Work AND blocked off the correct estimated time when dragged. That would be HEAVEN!

Hey everyone!
I'm changing the status back to Open while I investigate the desire of this ask.
As you probably are already aware, we have My Work + Calendar on Home today. Based on some of the comments I'm reading, this isn't cutting it for you still though.
I would appreciate it if you could give us some more insight into the most important thing we're missing so that we can make sure to build it right once we circle back to this ask.
Thank you!

Zach: Hey! Now we have a view from the calendar, not the calendar view. So theres a snippet of the calendar for that day, not the whole calendar app. Further, would be optimal to have the calendar acessible on left side bar at all times. It requires to much clicking to get to the full calendar nowadays.

Zach: The calendar should look like a calendar, not a list. Primarily for this reason, I find Tick Tick a superior app, despite recognizing the positives about Clickup.
Rachael Amber
Zach: personally, I would prefer a fully integrated/embeded google calendar. or at least if the integration for GCal were color coded, etc into the clickup cal.

Zach: I would echo exactly what Douglas said. Really, the calendar on Home V3 just needs to be able to display week and month views, as does the sidebar calendar. Having only one day view is far too limited as we want to use the calendar to look at whole periods of time and also to plan and organise other tasks by dragging and dropping them onto the calendar

Zach: The ability to scroll across weeks/months one day at a time like the mac calendar does would be very handy too.
I'll reitteratethat the problem you have with what you've got is it provides a nice overview but isn't very functional for shceduling. We want to see a calendar of the next week or month, and a list of tasks side by side and be able to shcedule the tasks by dragging them onto the calendar. Part of me is struggling to understand how you've missed that to be honest! It seems like such an obvious and simple thing to want to do with a list and a calendar....
Also, the fact that I have to click a date several times on the date picker of a task before it sticks (confirmed bug CLK-340391 - 18th Sept 23) just makes using the calendar for setting dates much easier as overall it's a little bit quicker despite the constant need to hard refresh. Now I'm starting to get into something else but I often feel like a lot of clickup's failings are often interconnected.

Hey everyone, I know Clickup is working on this but I have enabled my team to start using Reclaim, a tool that does just that and also makes it possible to manage multiple workspaces in one place.
The integration with clickup is also great, which is real nice of clickup and reclaim imo.

Hey everyone! We're working on this feature but we're also in search of someone that's passionate about calendars and events to be our dedicated Product Manager for these features.
If you (or anyone you know) wants to build the best events, calendars, and scheduling features - please have them apply here: https://clickup.com/careers?gh_jid=4540148004
Note: you don't necessarily need product manager experience, but at least be very experienced in calendaring and scheduling. Some of our best product managers were users originally that we hired on the team!
