Multiple Selections in Custom Fields
complete
Zachary Martin
I want to create a custom field, but instead of single select, give us possibility in same custom field tp choose multiple items. so for example, if I am using clickup as a crm, and have custom field services, I want to choose social media marketing and website development for in the same custom field to record which service the client signed up for, and than using filter to show results based on that field so if this custom filed has social media...show ..if this custom field has this or that do this or that...so AND & OR possiblity. so here is screenshot of airtable..as you see each field i chose one answer, but i have ability to chosoe many like done in last row. so same want for clickup, custom field with drop down menu items but we can choose multiple.

Laci Gatewood, Akshay Jain, Suzanne Corbo, Franca Cumbo, Michael Hein, Maciej Pałka. Veikko Kuosa, etc. - I had the same issue, but I was getting Labels and Tags mixed up. Labels are exactly the same thing as multi-select. They are unique to that specific custom field, unlike the tags which are across the entire space. I wanted to comment here so that everyone realized simply that Multi-Select = Labels in ClickUp.

Definitely need a multiple selection feature in custom fields (dropdown, checkbox). Are you planning to have this and when?

This absolutely should be an added feature. Labels do not cover this need as they are not easily managed by admins. I need a field for a single purpose, to capture dependent teams in a singular line. If I use labels, I open a can of worms as labels are too flexible of a field that many teams use as #. I am at the tech startup and even as our size, this is not conducive for our development process needing to scale.
