Please see this example in Obsidian + TLDraw plugin, where they support multiple pages. So it definitely can be done! 👍👍 🙏🙏🙏

Guy Mannerings: Yep, we originally didn't include pages because we wanted to see what the use would be like and what kinds of use cases would come up, but we definitely want to get it done at some point.
Zach
Artur .T curious, does a new whiteboard not solve your problem? What's your use case for needing pages? Thanks!

Zach I am also a big fan of the idea of having multiple pages in Whiteboards.
The reasons using new Whiteboards for this doesn't work are:-
- Lack of inter-connectedness.
If these Whiteboards are related to each other (which they would be if you are making multiple pages), there is no elegant way to (A) Connect them, and (B) jump between them. Also, Separate whiteboards don't
feel
part of the same document or area. They just feel disjointed. You have to make a link, which is barely visible once you zoom out, and which you have to find, and which does not connect with your brain that it is part of the same document.
- You end up with tonnes of Whiteboards views tabs along the top, which becomes a huge mess, and is super-difficult to find what you want.
Imagine if you have different versions of a whiteboard, or topics all related to the same area. Now you have to have multiple tabs. It's just a mess and crazy to try and find anything.
The reasons I am a big proponent of having pages:-
Summary: It would be like having a physical notebook with individual pages. Often you want to keep ideas related to the same area in one place (i.e., one notebook), but then each idea/topic/day/class/whatever might go on an individual page underneath that.
Think of pages in whiteboards like that one Notebook with pages inside.
- Things feel connected and work easily.
Whiteboards under the same topic are right there. They are connected in your brain and easy to find.
- No mess. All under one whiteboard.
3. Think of what else you can build!!!!
This is actually the biggest positive that CANNOT be done in the present set up:-
You can have something like Docs but with infinite canvases, akin to OneNote.
This allows you to do things like create Journals that you can freely write in. E.g., you can have 1 Whiteboard for a month, with a pages for each day that you then write in. I know Zeb is a fan of a Journal. This could be a step towards that (although a full-featured one would be better).
Or it allows you to ideate multiple things under one topic, but keeping them neat in one document but using multiple pages.
E.g., I make films. I could have 1 Whiteboard, and then have a Page for each scene, where I drop in ideas for each of those scenes, but they are all contained under one main Whiteboard.
The possibilities become
SO much greater.

Zach Adding another use-case:-
I prefer to hand-write out ideas, and free-form sketch ideas, rather than working from a formal digital list.
Having multiple pages allows you to mimic the ClickUp List -> Tasks and Task -> Subtasks hierarchy, where you can have a Whiteboard for a List, with multiple pages for each Task, and notes in the page that relate to that task. Or a Whiteboard for a Task, and the pages are the Subtasks.
It just allows you freedom to work in a more freeform way, whilst keeping things organised under in one cluster.
