Move New Doc to Existing Doc as Subpage
Chris Keseling
We are using the ai notetaker which is AWESOME. However, after we have the meetings, we would like to take the document created with the meeting notes/action items/etc and add it to an existing doc (client doc for example). This currently doesn't appear to be an option and so we have a growing list of docs when they could be organized and much more useful of we could combine when needed.

This is an important feature for the continuity of ClickUp's overall product offering.
You can move any manually created doc into an existing one as a subpage. so there's really no reason that this shouldn't be possible with the AI Notetaker created docs.
While these workarounds are just that, workarounds, ultimately this feature needs to be rolled out if ClickUp wants to be providing a well-rounded and consistent product experience.

The easiest way to solve this in general is a completly new view for lists that is called "AI Notetaker" or something and every Notetaker doc that is moved to a list will be added into that view. The user could then follow the same workflow like now:
Open docs hub
Review meeting docs
Relate doc with list
Instead of now creating a tab for each document it will create the tab "AI Notetaker" and move the document into this view. If the Tab is already present, it will just move the doc into this view.
The current way of working with it will mess up our lists as we have weekly calls with clients that we are transcribing. Right now this results in 40 tabs after 40 meetings.

Workaround (a lot of clicks, but it does the job):
- A doc view & doc page is created by the AI notetaker
- Add a blank doc page
- Now you can move the doc page created by the AI notetaker to another doc view
- Delete the doc view (with blank doc page) created by the AI notetaker

Agreed - i just googled how to do this for this exact reason - I would like the AI to take notes in an existing doc or be able to easily move things over with out having to copy and paste.
