Move Message as a Reply to a Thread After It Has Been Posted

I'm the project manager and like to keep everything connected. Sometimes, people send messages in the channel that should be replies in a thread. I'd like the ability to move those messages to a thread once they have been posted.

Hoping this includes splitting threaded replies to the main channel / task as well! Often folks start a new conversation in a threaded reply that really should be it's own top-level topic. Ideally you can pick however many of the following replies to split out, since often we'll get two conversations overlapping each other...

Brendan W great, thanks for the update. For this feature to be implemented, you will probably have to set a topic name at first (similar to zulip), so that when messages are moved between topics, the mover can determine which topic to move it under.

Zulip chat has this feature where messages can be moved between topics/threads. Please implement this. Thanks

Was just typing the same thing! These are nice small features that help to create an edge to slack as well, because also Slack doesn't have such a thing.
