Wow. 2.7k votes. Glad I'm not alone. This should so, very, obviously be part of the 'Move' feature. Why does 'Move' only support 'Space' level moving of items/lists/spaces?
The public template process is totally inappropriate for sensitive data, for a start. Totally unintuitive and laborious too.

Luke Flegg I am also in a situation where our company was acquired and both orgs use ClickUp. We'd like to combine the two Workspaces, but the only option we've been given by ClickUp is to make our Spaces "public templates" and then transfer them over. Like you, we have sensitive data in our ClickUp Workspace, and cannot legally make it "public" for any amount of time. This is a huge gap for enterprise-level software.

This would be really beneficial especially as clients grow their business and it comes to the time where they are ready to have their own ClickUp space to bring in more and more of their team members.

To move items from one Workspace to another you can do this by sharing a template.
To share a template:
Save a template of the item (Space, Folder, List, task) you want to share.
Locate the template in the Template Center, click the ellipsis, and click Share.
Enable public sharing and copy the public link.
Switch to the destination Workspace.
Paste the public link in the browser address bar.
Choose where you want to save the template.
When you share a Space template, the details below won't transfer:
Task created dates
Task history
Task IDs
Templates
Time Tracked
@mentions to/from a missing user
Mind Maps in blank mode
Views with public links need to be enabled again

A-Loris Drago This is not a viable option for any company with data security concerns (so, it shouldn't be a viable option for any enterprise). I've even asked if we can pay ClickUp on the backend to have a dev engineer move it over on the server side, but haven't received a response after asking several times.

Please allow us to move spaces, lists and tasks between workspaces! It would make things way easier when shifting projects between teams!
