More Advanced Whiteboard Sharing

Right now, I want to share a Sidebar Whiteboard in a Private Space. Under share this view, I can search for people, but can't share with anyone who doesn't have access to the private Space.
Sidebar Docs in private Spaces allow us to share the Doc independently from the private Space.
Lists and Folders act the same way, we can share them independently from the private Space.
This request is for Whiteboards to be able to let us share the same way Docs do.

Totally agree with this. Just discovered this limitation when trying to share a whiteboard with a guest in an unshared folder. Docs and lists can be shared easily, but whiteboard sharing behaves differently, which is a big limitation.
Clickup support confirmed:
I wanted to share my findings after testing this on my end and confirming with our team:
• In order for a guest to access a Whiteboard, the parent Folder must also be shared with them. Sharing only the Whiteboard (without sharing the Folder) will result in access errors.
• I also tested this scenario with a user who is an Admin. The same rule applies: the Admin user must have access to the entire Folder before they can access the Whiteboard inside it.
This behavior is consistent for both guests and admins—Whiteboard permissions are inherited from the parent Folder. Sharing the Whiteboard alone does not grant access unless the Folder is also shared.
I understand this may not be the ideal workflow, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you’d like, I can submit this as a feature request to our product team for future consideration.
