Modern Layout: move Favorites to sidebar

I love the new modern layout, but I miss the easy access to my favorites from the top nav of the original 2.0 layout. I'd love to be able to put them in the sticky left sidebar (the one with the inbox/task/reporting icons), so they're easier to access.

Hey, that would be really cool. I only like the modern layout (and btw I switch from a competitor who forced a layout change and it was one of the reasons I left bc it didn't work for me) and this would be an excellent feature.

You can pin the favorites to the top by hovering over the 'favorites' header and clicking the pin button :)
