When starting a new chat, you now need to reply to an email in your inbox to authenticate the session. And because of that setup, you also can’t upload attachments directly in the chat - everything has to go through that same email thread, which slows the whole process down and makes it all feel clunky.
On top of that, there are no sound notifications. Even with browser notifications allowed, replies come through silently, which means it’s easy to miss messages and end up checking back constantly. This risks slowing down support too, because missed replies often lead to longer back-and-forth.
Restoring direct attachments, in-chat authentication, and sound notifications would make support much smoother for both users and the ClickUp team.
