Add more layout options and the ability to rearrange the order of nodes.
Mind mapping is about brainstorming. After the brainstorm, I want to arrange the nodes to my liking.
I would also like to see a top-down structure (as an option) so it looks more like a Work Breakdown Structure.

Aside from the Top-down structure (please vote here: https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/mindmap-top-down-hierarchy-view-for-things-like-sitemaps-org-charts-etc), we've accomplished all of the asks here on our Whiteboards feature.

Zach: Odd you didn't choose top-down over this example. Do we have the final version of Whiteboards now or is there more with v.3?

Yes we need to be able to rearrange and have more flexibility in general

Totally agree. A Mindmap is useless if you cannot rearrange items

The ordering point is crucial in my opinion!

Not to mention a mindmap structure - right-aligned nodes are not a mindmap, freely draggable, clockwise by default, nodes are a mindmap.
