Mind maps need improvement.

The mind maps here are just an assortment.
The lack of editing features and functionality hinders the user's imagination.
I am currently using 'Boardmix' online mind maps.
I wish Clickup had mind maps as convenient as that.

I appreciate the great work that has been done at Click Up.
Over the years I have felt deeply frustrated that the many amazing tools are not integrated.
As I have outgrown my current system I have been shopping for a system where I can grow. And I believe I cannot outgrow Click Up.
Mostly I like to use mind maps online. They mirror how I think. But they are poor at project and task management. I am glad that Click Up had some BASIC mind map options.
I appreciate that each week you commit to roll out new or improved features.
Let me offer these online mind map services that I have used over the years. Just maybe your team can look behind the curtain to see how they work to guide in improvements. Or they may be able to reverse engineer. Or just get inspired to go in a new direction.
Here are a few of the best ones in my opinion that are not super popular.
Mind Mup
Compamming
Mindomo
On a related note to fuel your long-term planning for improvements here is a great habit tracker.

This is the kanban system that I have outgrown.
Another tool that I think is excellent that your developers can study to gain inspiration is Liquid Planner. www.liquidplanner.com
Just maybe there could be integrations or embeds with those in the future.
Is there a way for me to blend these in the short term?
I am brand new here and I hope to make this the base for my start-up unto many team members.

Yes, being able to change the orientation of the mindmaps would be very helpful so that we can create top-down sitemaps, hierarchy view, etc.
Being able to create something like this would be a huge improvement (Yes, we can create something kind of similar using a manual creation in Whiteboard, but it's a very clunky user experience currently, so not as nice to use as Boardmix.)
Examples of the elements below include:
* Top down orientation
* Sub elements
* Comments
* Colour coding
* Different layout options / ability to determine where certain tasks are positioned within the visual
* The ability to create multiple starting nodes (currently it appears that Mindmap only supports one per mindmap)
* An ability to add additional linking (eg the thin lines). This is useful for communicating secondary relationships between elements for example.
The key thing missing from boardmix (and therefore not shown here, and the key driver for us wanting to switch it to Clickup) is the ability to create tasks from the mindmap. That exists in clickup, but sadly is only suitable if you can display your mindmap in landscape orientation, which isn't ideal for many uses.
I hope the extra info and examples helps.
