Microsoft SSO(not enterprise)

Microsoft Azure AD supports SSO(Single Sign On).
I think sso isn't a main feature of clickup, but an essential feature of the cloud service.
So, I want you to provide SSO with Microsoft at a free or low price.

Yes. Not sure why google workspace users are getting preferential treatment over Microsoft 365 users? Of course you could just setup a google cloud account and link it to your azure account for access (which is how we overcame this issue for Clickup and many app apps that don't support microsoft SSO free out of the box.

I just want a "Sign-in with Microsoft"
There's a "Sign-in with Google" https://help.clickup.com/hc/en-us/articles/21579340362135-Sign-in-with-Google

Fibery.io already support microsoft authentication at their entry level paid tier.

Supporting both MS & Google logins are "table stakes". We are porting over from Coda Project and there was ease of sharing a documents for review with our clients as they didn't need to 'create an account' per-se, they go the link from us, click the Microsoft link and they were in. All customers in our vertical are MS based and this is the one thing we really dislike with migrating.

Microsoft SSO should be included at the base level plan. The SSO tax needs to stop. This is a basic security measure that should be offered as a standard by any legitimate SaaS solution in 2025.

Not having Microsoft SSO at a non-enterprise tier prohibits companies from having strong security measures. ClickUp is doing a disservice to all its Microsoft based customers. With the growing list of features C/U has and is encouraging companies to use, it needs to also strengthen its security measures which includes SSO for all plans and all major types (like Microsoft).

Equal features should be on the same tier! Why do we have to pay more just because we use Microsoft.

It would make a lot of sense to have all SSO functionality in the same subscription plan.

Why is microsoft SSO on enterprise when google SSO is business?

Tim Jasper: agreed!

Zeb Mandy Mekhail What's the reason behind Microsoft SSO being on enterprise and Google SSO on Business? Isn't that an equal feature that should be on the same tier?
As a Microsoft user I feel discriminated :@
Shaun Cooley
Tim Jasper: Obviously anyone using Microsoft products is a massive enterprise and can afford the https://sso.tax/ ... that's sarcasm, if it isn't obvious
Sydney
Alexander Selle: Hey, Alex! Jumping in for Zeb here. Great question! Google SSO does not require any manual configuration - Microsoft has a more complex manual configuration which is why we have it in a higher tier.
Alexander Selle
Sydney: Hey Sydney. Thanks for your reply and the insights on complexity here. Still, is there a chance this decision might be overthought or the feature unlocked for teams without the Enterprise plan?
We're far from being an Enterprise and Microsoft 365 is very affordable for small teams too. We're now able to use our M365 accounts for every software we're using - except for Clickup. We have to tell people that if they change their passwords, they also have to change it separately in Clickup. That's bugging me :(
Like Shaun said, I wish we wouldn't have to pay extra for security features like these.
Shaun Cooley
Sydney This is completely false. "Sign in with Entra ID" is ZERO config - exactly like "Google SSO". Separately, both Google and Microsoft support SAML, SCIM, and OAuth which require EXACTLY the same amount of config.
We are about to pull the plug on ClickUp because of this ridiculousness.
Tim Jasper
Shaun Cooley we use google cloud linked to our microsoft tenant to get around this issue. (but we shouldn't have to )
Jamie G.
Hey, Shaun Cooley ! Jamie here, jumping in for Sydney while she's away. Microsoft was priced differently because our Microsoft SSO option enables enterprise SAML, which requires additional configuration and ongoing support. Setting up SAML SSO in general involves more setup, certificate management, and security requirements compared to other SSO options. We'd love to explain this further to you and your Account Executive, Kelsey, will be in touch with you tomorrow morning regarding this matter. Thank you!
Tim Jasper
Jamie G. I'm sure if Clickup reassessed this and added out of the box SSO for microsoft, it would attract a lot more microsoft 'anchored' clients.. Like others have said, an increasing number of software companies are adding microsoft SSO as a free option like google SSO.
