Map to Custom Statuses on CSV import #uaka

Walking through the CSV import wizard shows how easy it would make the transition - until I got to status mapping.
Even though the space I am importing to has custom statuses (that are the same across all projects), my only option is to map is open or closed - that would lose all of my actual statuses. Where's pending? In progress? Under review? On hold? Or, if I don't map them they will be imported as new custom statuses that I will then have to reassign.
Mapping should match the Space's status.

Had the same issue! Took rework even though the Statuses we imported exactly matched the Statuses in the Space we were importing to.

I wanted to follow-up and note the conversion is actually fairly simple, it's just unintuitive.
After the import is complete (make sure the status import setting is "Create New Status" on all of them) you can then go to the imported project (ClickUp named ours "CSV Import" by default) and change the statuses for the whole project. Clickup's change status functionality is very nice - it auto-matches everything named the same and let's you map anything else. Took 10 seconds.
The main issue I see is when doing an import, a user would have no idea they can map over those statuses later so easily. Might add that to the documentation.
