Manually sort order of custom fields within a task

With ClickUpdates 2.43 custom fields are sorted on alphabetic order with a task. You used to be able to manually sort this list. Manually sorting has great advantages so the most important custom fields are on top. Please make manually sorting available again.

There's some confusion here. I came here looking to make/upvote this feature request.

You have to turn Manual sorting on in your ClickApps, then go to the Custom Field manager and turn on the Reorder switch.
It has a heirarchy of fields with workspace at the top going down to List at the bottom (which would be nice to be able to reorder as well Caroline Ginty)

Some custom fields have a high level of importance compared to others. The ability to manually sort custom fields in a task view for a space/folder/list would be very beneficial.

Why was this feature removed? Sorting custom fields in the task is no longer available, sorting has returned to alphabetical order

We've added this ability back in! It is now an option under the Custom Field ClickApp in Workspace settings.

A work around would be to add numbers to your fields so it sorts them correctly in the mean time.

YES. The manual order we had set for all our custom fields was so important. This update was a huge step backwards for our workflow!
