ClickUp is slow. When you get good at it, the speed of the app limits your workflow and that's very frustrating.
Here's an example:
When I estimante times for tasks, I click on the estimate button and write something like "5m". After like half a second, I can press "enter" and that sets the estimate. The problem is that little, pesky half a second delay that I have to wait for every single task. The problem is that if I don't, the time estimate will be set to 5 hours even if I wrote "5m".
There are many little things like that (like the cmd+k command) that are annoyingly slow. Sometimes it is faster to navigate manually to a specific task than having to wait for the results to pop up.
They aren't a big issue, they just get frustrating when you really get into the workflow and you're going super fast, but clickup can't keep up.

Comically slow to use.  Feel like I'm using dial up again.  Minutes to load a dashboard, more than 30s to change status on a single task.  I will be pushing our Exec to abandon ClickUp if it doesn't improve.

This is by no means complete. I just checked with 3 other members of my team and they all agreed with me that they cannot take any actions anymore without it taking between 30s to 2m for a task to change a status or a due date. That's absurd for a productivity tool? Did not used to be like this. Happens on every computer on different networks, team working remotely all on different wifi networks etc. This is becoming a MAJOR issue...

Hey everyone, thank you for your feedback on this post. With the launch of ClickUp 3.0 we've seen strong improvement in performance. Overall app performance has increased by 2x, tasks and List views by 3x, and search is 5x faster! 
We've also launched RapidViews DB, an innovative new database technology that loads that largest and most complex views almost instantly. Views that previously took 30 seconds now take around 1 second to load! 
Having focused on performance and speed improvements in 3.0 we'll be closing this post. We understand, though, that each ClickUp Workspace is unique so if you are still experiencing slow speeds in your Workspace, please reach out directly to our team here so we can investigate with you.

Luci N. we did not see it before 3.0 - but we are finding it very slow to the point where we are almost considering a no go on the project - our schedules are large and it isn't coping well to be honest. I have asked my colleague to reach out to the team as per your advise.

ClickUp has worsen over the last months, and it's getting difficult to be attracted to stay on it anymore.
We keep being promised it's going to be better with 3.0 with a deadline that keep moving and with comments that 3.0 is bad.
Marketing about "Freaky fast" "Reliable" is not believable at this point, we really need ClickUp team to 
StepUp
 and make it work.We only want a tool where you can move a task, assign it to a list and have feedback about it being in the proper wished state and trust it will be in the same state without changes a few minutes after.

Additionally, we are underway with rolling our ClickUp 3.0 in two separate phases: the product experience and infrastructure improvements. The infrastructure improvements will directly target performance & reliability.
We've migrated a small set of our user base to the new infrastructure and are on track to move all workspaces by the end of October. Migration will happen automatically without any action required by your team.
I am going to update the status of this post to “In Progress” while we work on delivering the new infrastructure to all users. We’re listening, we hear your frustration, and we’re going to get this fixed.

I haven't had this issue until the latest update. Switching between spaces takes a while and slows down the workflow. I can spend a few hours just adding tasks between spaces and going to from a space to ensure tasks don't overlap when I'm in list view. The only way I can accurately do this is through the Everything space, which due to the many projects becomes too overwhelming to sort and add tasks accordingly and assigning them under the correct space.
