Hey Everyone!
Thanks for your patience! internally we have had to shuffle resources around so getting a dedicated team has taken a bit longer than expected but we are happy to say that progress is starting to be made this year!
There are two fronts where we are tackling some of the pain points.
We have been working on a new design system to help unify our designs across the app. This design system is being built with accessibility in mind ensuring both navigation and contrast are taken into account.
Many of our upcoming redesigns will be using the new system. We are excited to get them out!
Our partner has helped us identify many of the issues across our app that need updates to help us reach our goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Over the next couple of quarters, our engineers will continue working to address all of the more critical ones (level A). We should have an update on our conformance by the end of the year.
Some of the updates will be incremental, like ensuring navigation through the keyboard and proper labeling is used for screen readers. Others will come in the form of redesigns to our sidebar and views with a much higher readability score.

This feature has been suggested so many times and so many different threads and even has over 3,000 suggestions for this exact same thing and they keep closing it out and refusing to acknowledge the fact that it's being requested in so many different ways because it would exponentially make this tool so much better. Teams allows it, Jot forms, and so many others not allowing Docs or forms to be collaborated on without having every single person create an account is an epic fail for this. We will not be renewing if they do not correct this. And it is sad as I had such hope for a broad use in our corporation.

If you could begin with the focus traps in your external forms that would be most impactful.

My team is really enjoying using ClickUp, but we would love to be able to change the font sizes, colors, and thickness to be more readable for everyone.

Hey, Everyone!
Thank you for being patient as we start to make progress on this post. As we build out our new design system, mentioned above by Ivan, we are doing this with accessibility in mind and would love your helpful feedback as we implement new updates!
We are starting up an accessibility community to gather feedback that will help us become a more inclusive platform and ultimately reach our goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)! Within this community, we will share progress updates on our accessibility initiatives, solicit feedback on new designs, and collaborate with community members to ensure both navigation and contrast needs are met.
If you would like to join this community please comment below! We look forward to making progress together. 🎉

Some more suggestions.
My request? Never have to touch the mouse. Basic navigation is a foundation. Have to be able to get from A to B.
Should be able to navigate between spaces with the keyboard. So the left-left bar with the spaces, the left bar with the folders and lists, and then the tasks, then subtasks and checklists, description and date. And status. All with the keyboard completely. With tabs, arrow keys, or custom shortcuts.
The ability to quickly switch to another list and select it, then easily switch back to the main space is important. I'm going from one list to another (out of nearly 100 lists), one folder to another and so on, all day, then switching back to the space level to view all tasks on the calendar. So a folder tab skip option would be good so you are just not arrowing one at a time through fifty lists, then back up to list one.
Be able to select a folder, create, name and color code new lists inside, and do folders and tasks with a key.
Then, the ability to multiselect (or deselect) items in list view (maybe with shift/arrow/spacebar and cmd/spacebar?), and use the multitask bar with the keyboard.
Custom pulling up of favorites and views. Maybe program favorite views to 1,2,3,4,5 etc.
Some of this may be possible already, not sure, still learning the shortcuts. But that's what the workflow would look like for me.
If your engineers are drinking too much coffee one evening, what would really be amazing is the ability to customize your shortcuts to fit the way you work. And even pull up a keyboard shortcut map that would show you what you have mapped.
And surely some individuals would be in need of straight voice commands such as select (or create) folder x, create list, add color yellow, add task, add description, set date and time, add checklist etc. And of course 'select space' , then switch to calendar to see everything on the calendar. ALso a "move list to", "add to list" would be helpful also.
Regarding the interface, just to add that I personally really like the colors and the interface, so please make pastel colors or changes an option to select for those who need or prefer it, as visual accessibility is SO important! And the current way still an option as well as the dark mode and pretty colors are one of my favorite things about Clickup. It's an accessibility issue as well for me as my system uses heavy color coding to stay organized, and I like the strong colors.
And please please please, for the love of Clickup -- a cmd-z Undo.
Thank you!

Merged in a post:
Navigate between lists and folders with the keyboard - basic accessibility!

Should be able to navigate all the lists and folders in the left sidebar with arrow keys or a shortcut. I just need it for carpal tunnel. But for some people with disabilities, the inability to navigate the basic interface with the keyboard will exclude them entirely.
Also, maybe this exists, but a shortcut to bring up favorites?

Hey, L! Thanks so much for your post. I merged your post into another post asking for different accessibility features called "Make ClickUp more accessible."

Hopefully this will cover https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/contrast-readability as well?
