Lock guest views

this is super important in terms of permissions management to make clickup usable for us. it's strange that we can set a guest to have comment only or view only status - which only restricts their access to the task - ie they can view task but not edit - but yet they are able to edit the entire list view to unfilter for tasks that are meant to be hidden for them, or add columns to a view, etc. Please prioritize!

Please allow us to lock guest views. I only want guests to be able to see tasks assigned to them so want a forced Me Mode that they can't disable. Currently you can see Me Mode as default (which is annoying for me as admin who wants to see everything) but guests, even in protected views can still remove the Me Mode filter which is annoying. Should be able to set forced Me Mode on guest if I want. Would make it much easier to share lists with guests so they don't see every task.

Agreed. It's a bit strange that I can "lock the view" as the admin, but the guest can add columns back into the view and see all of the data in those columns and also remove any preset filters to view all of the tasks in the list. The current approach protects the view but not the data.

Hello. I recently upgraded to business to be able to use protected views but I found out that even with a protected view a guest is able to turn off "Me mode" (setting in the view) and even disable filters.
Keep in mind that if a member wants to turn off the "Default to Me mode" in the view options, it is required to turn off the protected view first. So, why a member needs to unprotect the view to be able to turn off the "Me mode" but a guest can do it even with a protected view?
I personally think this is more like a bug than a feature request. A guest should not be able to turn off "Me mode" or clear filters if the view is protected. Please consider blocking the ability to turn off "Me mode" and filters for protected views. TIA.
Jorge.

In fact, locking the view should be just a part of overall interface locking feature. Even more, not just locking, but possibility to enable/disable some list features:
This should work hierarchically:
- Folder enable/disable/lock (master): all lists within folder should inherit master settings which are:
GENERAL LAYOUT ENABLE/DISABLE/LOCK SETTINGS:
- enable/disable adding new views + lock current views
- enable/disable renaming new views + lock current view name
- enable/disable filters + lock current filter
- enable/disable "Group by" feature + lock current
- enable/disable "Subtasks" feature + lock current
VERY important feature would be the possibility to decide which view should be visible to guest, and which will be hidden.
GENERAL LIST ENABLE/DISABLE/LOCK SETTINGS:
this is little bit more tricky, because there are four types of guest interaction (view, comment, edit, create&edit). Idea is OK, but in real world confusing for client. For instance - in my business, I need my client to see the List with just specific columns, and I need him to edit just some of those visible columns.
In my ideal setup, guest will have:
- no right to add/rename actual view
- no right to add/remove columns to the list
- no right to reorder rows, and columns manually
- no right to edit columns except those which are specifically enabled for guest to edit
- right to filter tasks, Group task, showing subtasks, showing/hiding closed tasks
This is not possible to do with actual guest permissions. To make this work I would need to have locking feature mentioned above, plus following:
- lock/unlock list editing (means reodredring columns, rows, adding and removing columns)
- for EACH column possibility to set visibility for guest
- for EACH column possibility to set editing permissions for guest.
MORE POSSIBLE FEATURES:
- Possibility to hide task from guest view (there are always some internal tasks, or subtasks, which are not necessary for guest to see, but are connected to overall project )
- Possibility to disable guest to appear in Assignee column - mostly I need to assign tasks only to my team, not to guest.
Sorry for long post, and possibly quite off topic suggestions.
