Load Task Template from Opened Task

I wish there was an option to load the task template from an opened task. There are times where the task description is the same with the other tasks, only changing client info and if I use Zapier, I still have to manually copy paste the template in the task description.

Hey there! Just to clarify, how exactly would this be done? Would you expect a template to be merged into an existing tasks as if there were 2 tasks being merged together?

Zeb Thank you for adding this to your plan! I think someone here also wanted something similar, task description template since there are templated tasks and we only need to change some details.
Zeb
Jenipur Wapaño: No problem! This one will be done quickly (should be next week, maybe the week after). Could you point me in the direction of that other task? I'm not quite sure I know what you mean as you should be able to create templates with just the description only right now..
Jenipur Wapaño
Zeb: This is the one that I found, not sure if we have the same idea: https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/save-task-description-as-template
But were you able to get what I initially posted? :) For example, there is an old task that I imported from Trello and I wanted to update that description. Instead of copy pasting the template, would be nice to just load the template so that it updates the description (although I wish it will not update the task name).
Zeb
Jenipur Wapaño: Yeah I got you! When you load the template you'll be able to say, for example, just import description only. That's what you're saying right?
Jenipur Wapaño
Zeb: exactly :)
Zeb
Jenipur Wapaño: We'll get it done 🙌
