Problem Description:
Currently, ClickUp does not provide an automatic and visual overview of all lists (projects) within a folder or space. Users who manage many similar projects face difficulties in getting a clear, up-to-date overview and managing all projects at once. At the moment, users have to manually create tables in Docs or rely on the folder structure, which becomes inconvenient as the number of projects grows.
Why this is important:
For many teams, each project is a separate list, and the number of lists can be large.
There is a need for a quick and visual overview of all projects (lists) with the ability to filter, sort, and add statuses or other information.
Automatic updating of such a list when projects are added or removed saves time and reduces the risk of errors.
This would increase transparency and manageability of the project portfolio.
Desired Solution:
The ability to create a separate view or widget that automatically displays all lists within a selected folder or space in a table format.
The ability to add custom fields to these lists (e.g., project status, owner, deadline).
The ability to delete some fields and change the width of columns.
Automatic updating when the structure changes.
User Case:
“I have dozens of projects, each as a separate list. I need to see them all in one table to quickly understand the status of each, without opening every list individually.”
