List level comments

I want to be able to pin the comments panel at the list level so that it shows by default. Currently, you have to click the comments icon to open the panel. Also, I'd like replies to automatically expand. Currently you have to click on a reply to show.

It would be great to be able to have a visible "conversation" at the list level that shows all the comments from each task as well as the list as a whole. All activities, comments, etc. where you can actually respond to the comments for the entire list. The Activities view is great, but you can't reply to comments there.
