'Link to' Calendar Meetings
J
Jared Albers
Understanding the outcome of a meeting and being able to refer back to it (i.e. private notes, public meeting minutes, actions, etc.), is critical to being effective with our time.
It would be quite useful to be able to have docs, pages, & tasks directly linked to meetings on the calendar on the ClickUp 'Home' page (which are synced with Google Calendar) for clarity & reference.
Desired ClickUp UI Options:
* Use the 'Link to' option in a page or document to link it to a calendar meeting.
* Use the 'Add Relationship' option in a task to link it to a calendar meeting.
* Click on a calendar meeting and have options to create/view documents, pages, or tasks that will be linked to the meeting.
* Easily set 'Sharing & Permissions' of the linked docs based on if it is:
a) Public (meeting minutes intended for all in the workspace)
b) For Attendees (minutes intended only for meeting attendees)
c) Private (for personal notes taken during the meeting)

Calendar (Outlook Cal Sync): Auto-create task/subtask for meetings created in ClickUp Planner

Currently you can 'link' a meeting you create in ClickUp Calendar (Outlook Calendar Sync) to a task or document, but it doesn't actually show up/appear within the task or document. Thus, you lose the ability to see meetings at the project level and track time, and you can only reference the event from ClickUp Calendar or your actual Outlook Calendar. Which means you end up manually creating meeting tasks or subtasks to track meetings and time spent which isn't efficient and doesn't encourage my team to utilize the integration.
Request: Allow the option to create a task/subtask or link to an existing one so that it allows for Date/Time to be auto-filled in, name of task/subtask is replaced by the event name (or option to do so), assign people, apply tags, etc. while still allowing for details and the Teams/Zoom meeting to still be applied.

I really like how I can create a note on the fly from a calendar event in Evernote. I would love the same feature in ClickUp. It doesn't have to post the entire note back to the Google Calendar event but it could place a link in the description to the note. The product that does this well is Fellow. That way if you are in ClickUp and you search for the event, you can find your notes associated with that event. If you are in Google Calendar you find your event and click on the link and it takes you to ClickUp to show you the note. Think Evernote + Fellow = ClickUp calendar event notes. Come on ClickUp, let's make this happen!

Definitely a useful feature, especially for having Meeting Preps handy before a meeting starts
