Need a setting to allow us to set this to always open, always hide. I want the left sidebar always opened as I work in several lists. When I open the program it starts closed. Please add a setting so I can keep it always opened. And this behavior should be for both desktop app and browser.

How is this still an issue if people have been asking for this for years? I just got a survey, asking if we want the icons removed from the Left Sidebar - so even more hovering and clicking. I get what you want to accomplish, ClickUp - but many of us use that sidebar. I was able to get on a call with one of their team members but I came here to say it again: Give your clients the option to KEEP THIS SIDEBAR OPEN AT ALL TIMES.

Yes, please! One of my colleagues gets so frustrated that right after she expands her folders, she goes back and they're closed again.

yes this is driving me crazy in 4.0 - why would you take away the ability to quickly navigagte between spaces / folders when jumping between different areas. Now when i go into my timesheet everything collapses and it takes mulitple clicks to find where i was working only seconds before.
Just put in a pin feature, for the esidebar you use most - its not that complicated!
It absolutely astounds me that this passed any kind of UAT process other than "icons look cool!".

I thought that was the case but now it keeps collapsing. Am i losing my mind? But yes definitely need it to be able to be pinned to always open as an option!
