I would love the ability to avoid importing Closed tasks from Jira.
This way I don't need to import my entire database.

Thanks for the feedback on this one! I'm updating this to reflect its current status. The team is currently working on improving the automations experience. I've passed this feedback along to the team and we'll update this again soon.

The fact that basically all text formatting is gone is really cumbersome. We basically have to re-format all our tasks...

Common, all of this is standard... The wow effect would be even better when giving a try to ClickUp...

I'd like to be able to import the Epic links !

Things this integration needs:
- Ability to schedule a sync. eg. once a week
- Have tasks updated based on fresh sync data, statuses etc.
- Keep relational links between Jira tasks and Clickup native tasks updated between sync's
Yes you can do this with a Zapier/Unito etc automation but it really shouldnt need the added complexity.
This would be especially helpful for teams that cannot (because of other factors) move their entire team from Jira to Clickup immediately. ie. would help with transitioning complex teams.

I'd like to be able to import links between tickets as dependencies. Both the "blocked by" as well as "related to" (imported as task link) would be great. Also the Epic links would be extremely valuable, though we use them differently: to group and filter issues into larger work areas.

Hey Jared Albers ! 👋
Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about this issue you're facing with markdowns being lost when importing from Jira.
At this time, this is actually expected! Currently there is a limitation on Jira's end that prevents markdowns from being imported properly to ClickUp. I went ahead and merged this post to the relevant Feature Request post for the Jira integration.
Please let us know if you'd like us to consider anything else!
Have a great day! 😊
Thanks!

From user: i wish there would be a 'select all' in the importer, because i have like 100+ projects in jira, that i need to unselect manually if i want to just import one.. :)

At the moment when I'm importing the JIRA cards there is 2 major issues:
- It don't import the images inside the description, but only as attachment - it is extremely crucial as there is several images inside a task, and there is context for what is written with the image and if the developer don't see the image he doesn't know now what image is related.
The issue happens probably because of the way JIRA put the image inside the task with size vars like "thumbnail" and size so it shows text instead the image:
!image-2020-07-29-18-06-46-009.png|thumbnail!
- The second issue is event more crucial that when importing task with sub tasks, it does import it with all the subtask but also create all the tasks as issues themselves so there is double content, for example if I import task with 7 sub task it will create issue with 7 sub tasks + 7 issues (the 7 subtasks)
