Improve UI for dragging and dropping tasks into Sprints when their "home" list is a different list (Multiple Lists)

It'd be amazing if, when dragging items from an existing list to a sprint list, there'd be an option to default to adding to list as opposed to moving from the home list.
Even better if it was a little smarter when working with Sprints. i.e. the "home" list shouldn't change, but you should be able to drag from one Sprint to another.
I'd think that most people working from "home" lists in projects would want to just drag and drop items from those lists into future Sprints (think: Epics/Features and Projects views as "home" and then dragging into Sprints).
Obviously this can be done with the Multitask toolbar, but for people who are less of a Clickup geek, they definitely prefer drag and drop.
Currently it is a pain when you need to bump a task from one Sprint to another without messing up the home list. i.e. I need to drag a task that lives in "My Project" list from "Sprint 1" to "Sprint 2" without removing it from "My Project".
Another solution could be that when you drag a task on top of a list, you could have two drop areas that are maybe color-coded and/or with icons that show "Add to list" or "Move to list" so it's clear what you're about to do.

This is still a huge annoyance. When I'm working in the backlog and want to quickly add items to a sprint, you'd think you'd just drag those items into the sprint. Nope. It
moves
them so the new home list is the sprint and removes them from the original list where you were tracking everything. It not only moves them, but if you're trying to add subtasks to a sprint this way, it CONVERTS them from subtasks to parent tasks. This is not the way people use sprints!
Sprints should always be the secondary list. Not the home list.

Yes, please! This would make working with ClickUP so much easier. It is really cumbersome right now to add (not move) the tasks to a sprint.

yes, we should be able to move tasks between sprints without affecting tasks' home List.
I would even be ok to do it in two steps.
- Select tasks from one spint and add them to new Sprint/List.
- "Remove from this List" should remove them the selected Sprint/List.
is this possible?

yeah, some sort of UI to give you the two options would be great. I know how clickup works and still make this mistake sometimes of dragging to add when I just wanted to "add to a list"

Another idea is to drag and to use the Cmd ⌘ / CTRL. button before dropping the task to the additional/multiple List, so that it is not moved but added to the list. Would be quite simple and intuitive, as this is already learned on Mac & Windows. This would be a huge time saver when planning tasks!

Valentin Hammer: I would go with Option / Alt button since this is an alternative action.
