Improve the Start/Due date and time setting experience in Task view
Guy Mannerings
There's a few problems with Task view when setting Start and Due dates and times. (This also applies to other views where you can set Start/Due dates and times.)
- When you click Start date, then pick a day, it jumps instantly to Due date, skipping the time choice for Start time.
- If you set a Stat date that is after a Due date, it deletes the Due date. Instead, it should give you a warning and not let you save. The reason for this is because sometimes you accidentally click the wrong date, but then ClickUp wipes out the previous date and time and you forget what it was. Or, you remember, but have to re-enter it. It would be better if it just highlighted in red and gave a warning.
- Typing Start/Due times has funny things happen - E.g., if you start typing "5" (to maybe do 5:30), it will bring up 0:15, 0:45, 1:15, etc, above anything beginning with "5". Or, e.g., type "5:3", it will prioritise 15:30 over 5:30.
- There are some areas of ClickUp (although I can't remember where right now) where you click Start date, and it will open the modal on Due date instead.
