Yes, I don't want to use a filter for this. I just want a "hide until [date]" option.

There needs to be a way to hide recurring tasks until triggered.

You can do that already with a filter - the only issue is, that there is no recurring start date, thus setting habits wont work.

The ability to declutter a to-do list by hiding items that can be ignored until a pre-defined future date would be very handy. I also think it would help prevent "item blindness," that phenomenon where you get so used to not seeing something that you don't notice it when you need to, especially if you like to limit the number of notifications you receive like I do.

It would be great to be able to define the start date of a task as a 'viewing date' of sorts. Meaning if I write a task for two months ahead,

i don't want to see it before the start date, since it's irrelevant

Yes Please - I keep clicking complete on future tasks - Would be great to view my tasks week by week or even daily if chosen in the list view

That would be a great feature. I have long lists of tasks that only occur once or twice yearly. Hiding those until they matter would declutter my board views considerably
