Hide custom fields in Board view if there is no value in them

The same as recently implemented calendar feature, please hide the custom fields in board view if there is no value in them.
This will make the interface much less messy.
And I am assuming the code from the calendar view is reusable to some degree, so this should be an easy change.
Thanks!

The most recent update to status' appearance needs work! For simplicity sake and ease of viewing our Boards, my team would LOVE to be able to hide custom fields where there is no value in them.

This situation is quite apparent with the progress bar, since it shows a 0% bar for all those tasks which do not have subtasks —which of course does not make sense and makes the view very messy. One should have the option of limiting the bar only to those tasks with subtaks.
Actually, as a complement, one could have the option to show for each task: Only Progress Bar (Automatic), Only Progress Bar (Manual), both.

I'd like to be able to show custom fields on my board view cards that are only relevant to some of the tasks on the board. Ideally, custom fields with no value would be hidden on all cards, to make this manageable visually.

It should be automatic! A custom field should be shown only when contain info. Have a clear work space free of unnecessary elements is essential.

This is super useful!

I agree.

Please implement this feature, the board becomes very large and messy when it really doesn't need to be. Must be optional (on/off toggle).

would like to remove the custom field title and just show the custom field value...in the board view

I'd really like this feature too. I love working with boards and I have the same issue. I have a dropdown which is filled in about 10% of the times, but when it's filled in, it's important that it shows, however, in 90% of the times it's empt. Showing this takes up a lof of space this way.
I'd should work in the same was as in the task itself.

Why is this not implemented yet??
