We would like the option to have subtasks retain the custom ID of their root parent task but add some kind of numbering to identify that it is a subtask of the parent task and to help us identify at what level the subtask is. For example, if the parent task is SALES-1, a subtask under this task might be SALES-1.1 and a subtask under that subtask may be SALES-1.1.1, etc. This would be beneficial to many of our team members who receive requests but need to tie those requests to another specific subtask in another space. For instance, they receive a request that work needs to be done on subtask RRR-1234. As part of their workflow, they have to currently navigate to RRR-1234 and then traverse up the subtask chain until they get to the parent task where they then link their request to it and the subtask mentioned. When they have a lot of requests coming in this can take a lot of time just to look up parent root ID numbers.
