As an agency, we work on a points based system where each of our deliverables have a points value and each of the team are responsible for delivering X amount of points per week. It would be handy to be able to use project management in points rather than time

Hi, I thought I could do that, but then can I use this field for reporting, such as how many points my team have estimated, allocated and delivered?

Tarun Masani: since the time field already exists, and is in a handy location, could the allowable inputs be changed to "p" as well, for points? So a user could put in '5p' for 5 points. A custom field will not live on the top level like this, and requires a lot more clicks.

Tarun Masani: Thanks Jorgen, I'm aware. I'd rather not add another field though - too many clicks once you're in the ticket. We'll probably just use ';hours' for now with an internal understanding that they actually reflect points.
