[from support] User would like to be able to group their List view by a number custom field.

Grouping for some Formula fields is now supported, but not for those that output numbers.

Hi. It would be great if I can group my tasks in board view by a custom field which has 2 or 3 fixed outputs for every task in the workspace. Currently the grouping is only available for native fields like status, assignee, tags and 1 or 2 more.
I hope you would consider the request for next update. And it would be great if you may provide me with outcome of my request, in both cases if it is considered or rejected.

Hi there Muhammad Aslam Khan - thanks for reaching out and sharing this feedback! What formula are you using and what is the output? We do support grouping by Formula fields, but currently, only if their output is a date or boolean. Grouping by MONTH(field("Due date")) is why I would need this.

We use a formula field to add a RICE score to tasks based on input parameters. This determines what projects should be focused on first, so grouping by said formula would be beneficial.

This is much needed, just something like being able to group on the integer output of WEEKNUM(field("Due date")) is essential.

actually, that is a very narrow sighted view. Please make it so that we can group by ANY custom field. I just tried to group not by status but Week Number that I created for time tracking purposes and bumped into the same problem as you Michael. Why dont they simply add grouping by any custom field we add?
