Granular permissions for importing - disabling for view/comment permissions

Importing with View or Comment access, how can we disable a Member with comment access into importing tasks, but allow a Member with full edit to Import tasks.
Isn't importing tasks equivalent to creating task

Gayathri N Currently we don't have granular permissions for controlling who can import or not. There is an overarching import permission that controls if a user can use the import tools, and then we further check for a user's permissions to be able to create specific objects.
I'll update the title of your feature request to specify granular permissions for imports.
