Google Drive Embed in Docs View
complete

Allow Google Drive files (mainly Docs and Sheets) to be embedded in the new 2.0 Docs View so we can edit these items directly in a Doc view. This is helpful because we would like a main Doc view to house all of our "Process" docs but want to use the Doc view folder hierarchy to organize them. Basically take the concept of the new Embed view and allow this inside a Doc (unfurl the Google Drive file and allow edits). Also, allow Google Drive files to be attached to documents - right now it only allows file attachments from a PC.

Hey everyone. With latest Google Drive integration we do now support 4 types of G Drive link previews, including embeds.
To enable this feature, go to the App Center -> Google Drive -> Connect
Next time you'll paste a Google Drive URL anywhere in ClickUp, you'll have an option to choose what type of link preview you want (Mention, Preview, URL). If you select, Preview - you have an option to click resize and see embed of the file you shared.

Any updates on this? All my embedded documents look like this. It sort of defeats the purpose of the embed.
If I can do it in google sites then clickup should be able to do it. Otherwise, I'm better off doing my work thre.

Yes, we need Google Docs/ Sheets and others to be Editable! Makes so much sense to just be able to edit the doc within Clickup Docs or Tasks/Subtasks. Rather than having to click on the link to open the Google Doc etc.
I think this is a very simple feature that should be in here.

Looks like this feature might be in development. Noticed today that you can use the slash command /embed and paste a google sheet link into a Doc. You can't resize the frame, and it doesn't seem to show up if you share a public link of the Doc - but the functionality is there. Super excited for this!

BTW - here is what a current Embed of a Google Sheet looks like for us directly in a ClickUp 2.0 view - https://cl.ly/898e00c8080d
