I wanted to submit a feature request regarding the Goals functionality — which I feel is in serious need of development to meet the needs of goal-focused users.

While it’s great to have a high-level goal with associated targets, there’s currently no effective way to structure layered sub-goals. There needs to be the ability to create tiers of sub-goals — for example:

• A main goal

• A few primary sub-goals

• Then multiple secondary goals/tasks under each

Right now, everything has to sit as a separate top-level goal, which leads to clutter and fragmentation, rather than a cohesive structure. Many of these goals actually belong under the same umbrella and would benefit from nesting.

Additionally, it would be incredibly helpful to have a visual goal mapping interface, similar to a mindmap or flowchart, to reflect how these goals relate to each other.

Previously, I used Asana which had some great goal mapping features — and I truly believe this functionality would make a major difference in keeping users (like me) committed long-term to ClickUp.
