Rani Sweis an immediate rollout for everyone could cause service instability or degraded performance due to the fact that most users (if not all) will jump right in.
Feature release (in waves) ensures more stable performance and metrics acquisition that will help with scaling as more users join.
I really YEARN to have the chat feature enabled in the Workspaces I am involved in, but, from a developer's POV, I totally understand their approach.

Brendan W could you please put everyone that contributed with surveys and stuff on the top of the waitlist? I think that would be a fair offer for those people waiting. And it would prevent some of the negative feedback. Even more if you could say when you expect to expand the beta.
Also, is there any documentation available on the integration part of the new chat? I would love to see what we could start building for our customers that rely on Slack integrations/bots and determine a migration path for them.

Rani Sweis No doubt, new customers will have this feature on day one and therefor the overhyped marketing is true and the correct thing to do as this feature is finally launched. I suppose explaining a rollout schedule for existing customers would have been better than just saying its live when it's not for all customers, but them doing an excellent marketing job shouldn't make you angry... this is a good thing lol. Just be patient

Hey guys, the new chat feature is AMAZING! 🤩
Our team would love to switch from Slack. The only thing that is missing now is an API integration, so we can have a thing like a Slack Bot sending messages and alerts in response to events. That would be HUGE. Do you have any plan for that?

I think that the following features would be extremely important:
- Automations:
It would be important for messages to be sent automatically to a chat group, e.g. when a task is completed or a certain event occurs. This would improve the workflow enormously and speed up communication.
- API integration:
An API is absolutely necessary so that you can collect information in a channel. For example, a server status or information from other project management tools could be sent to the chat. A simple API that enables the sending and receiving of messages would go a long way and cover many use cases.

Looks like no one has got access to the new chat, and they are saying that we are at capacity :) . Maybe it will take a few more months/years before people start getting this, maybe it will be like version 3.0 (people got to see only the teaser and it came after 6-9 months).
No one on youtube has shared any video yet saying that they have used the beta version or so. Not even the ones who are generally invited to test out other new beta features. Clickup team is not even telling whats the ETA for full rollout. They not even saying if it will take weeks or months.
