Can the default notification settings be controlled by an administrator?
The current default settings for a user, are to broad for our goal.
If the user upon initial start of use, gets too many notifications, they will just go into the settings, and have the urge to turn all off.
(Or they use a mail rule, to turn them over to an bulk folder)
Please make it so we can set a different standard per Team

Hey, everyone!
I just wanted to write a quick update and let you know where we stand on the development of this feature.
We're actively working on building this, but ensuring proper management of a user's notification settings in all scenarios an admin can update them, has been taking longer than expected.
We hope to ship this feature within the quarter - stay tuned!

My team members often complain in the beginning about all the notifications. It would be nice for them if the team leader could manage their notification settings when they complain about 'all the emails' and also faster for the team leader. In stead of explaning every member how they can do it themselves. I would be very happy with this feature!

When onboarding new users and guests one of the most common problems is dealing with Clickup notifications. It would be great to create a notifications template that can be applied to a user or group of users when they are created or even retrospectively. This way as admins we can manage notification settings for users rather than having to require users to make all the changes themselves.

I find setting notifications per team to be tedious - is it possible to have a default settings for notifications and have those inherited unless exceptions are made?

The default settings for notifications are too much. Users are notified about anything and everything. Every time I onboard a new guest user (e.g. client) I have to spend a lot of time with them adjusting the notification settings so they don't get bothered with unnecessary notifications for the slightest of actions performed by others. If it was possible to set a template for notifications then I could quickly set up all new client guest users and easily explain to them what kinds of notifications they will receive. As it is now its quite arduous to onboard new users as it pertains to notifications.

Company owners or directors sometimes wants more control over the tool people are using for their daily work to avoid different approaches. Thus, they are asking if we can preset some of the notifications as required globally. The possibility of setting it up globally in a Workspace is a missing item.

It is important that a standard set of notifications be provided to all or groups of employees (Members). This could be done by giving Owner/Admin members the ability to setup notifications for other members.

As the owner on our ClickUp workspace, I set up a lot of spaces and make sure each everyone has what they need. It would be really helpful if there was a way to manage people's settings without having to have them login. I'd mainly like to be able to set up people's notifications and navigation remotely.

Just as we can choose to use space status or select custom statuses, it would be nice to be able to set the notification settings I like and have the option to apply them to all spaces instead of having to go through every single line of notification settings for each space, even if the settings would be all the same across spaces.

As of now, it seems like notification settings are workspace-wide. It would be great if people could set notifications that suit their individual needs. For example, admins would need to see notifications of most tasks being created, while members would just prefer to see notifications that are assigned to them, or mention them.
