Ivan Villa: It adds a link in ClickUp when you open a GH PR with the TaskID but it'd be handy if it editted/commented on the GH PR with a link. Otherwise you don't maintain a 2 way link. It didn't do any kind of migration, so all our tasks haven't picked up existing PRs with Task ID's in the title
Nick
Phil Jones: Hey Phil! It will add a link to all new PRs but we aren't able to retroactively add the links to existing PRs that are already linked. If the links aren't being added to any new PRs just shoot us an email at help@clickup.com and our QA team will jump right on it!

Nick: Thanks, I submitted some bugs with the new views via ClickUp also (Source/Target in New Pull Request modal is wrong way around) etc.
Nick
Phil Jones: Got it, we are working on hotfixes for these issues now! Will be fixed by the end of the day.
Nick
Phil Jones: Just wanted to give you an update - the source/target in new PRs has been fixed along with some issues around posting a link to the task on the PR itself. Let us know if you run into any other issues!

Merged in a post:
Show the commit for Github
George
We can only see that someone pushed, the branch and the project name. However it would be super valuable to see the commit so we can refer to it with out clicking on the commit in order to see the title. In the notifications view we can see it but not in the activity.

Nick: Hey Great guys. ClickUp is one of the only tools that's more a "Work Management" all-in-one solution that has these integrations. The more you guys can build here, the more I will be inclined to stop peeking from time to time back at Jira or Clubhouse because of their great integrations here. Would love to see you guys continue to be the best solution among the "big boys" that integrates with Repo/Source Control as Asana, Monday, Wrike, Hive, Teamwork, etc. etc. all very weak here. And this is hugely needed function!
I just got this Jira ad presented to me and some of this stuff would really be great for devs working inside ClickUp:
Thanks guys!

This would be very useful. Right now It's the most bizarre work flow for us. We click on a commit, and then in github attempt to find the PR, which is about 3 not-obvious clicks away. I would love it if in clickup in one click it just took you to the PR. I don't care about the individual commits at all. We also prepend all our PRs with the task id.
Adam Hodowany
What would be the most useful for us is a list of pull requests related to the task with info:
- github project name
- PR name
- PR status
- link to PR
Zeb
Adam Hodowany: We'll get it done!
Jacob Smith
Zeb: Can you also add commit title in the description in activities history? now we can't see the title for the github commit, so the viewer would have to click the link, but we want an overall view
Ben
Zeb: I can see it on the notification but not on the activity view. This is super important for us
Zeb
Ben: Yeah we'll add that as well!
Benjamin Segal
Zeb: Thank you so much, super appreciated
Benjamin Segal
Zeb: One extra thing that might be useful is to connect the github to list instead of workspace. when you have to many github projects it could be hard to find specific one. This is just and idea, I don't know how are to implement it will be

Hi Zeb I think I'm missing how we can attach pull requests? Attaching how it looks for us
Zeb
Adam Hodowany: It only adds it to the activity right now (I guess not that helpful) - we'll get the PR's to display there as well! Should be done in our first public 2.0 release (July).
Adam Hodowany
Zeb: Fantastic, thank you very much!
Adam Hodowany
Zeb: Any news on that? It was supposed to be done in July
Zeb
under review
Zeb
Hey everyone! Can you please explain exactly what you'd like to see here? You already can attach pull requests to ClickUp (by adding the task ID). Do you guys just want a way to attach PR's manually using the modal picker?

Zeb: What Anna mentioned — show PR id, title and status; it would also be great to bind task status to PR lifecycle events, like:
* Move task to "Under review" when PR is opened;
* Move task to "Shipped" when PR is merged;
For full awesome points, add a way to set task status when an associated commit is moved to a specified branch, like:
* Move task to "Under review" then commit is merged to "develop";
* Move task to "Staged" when commit is merged to "release";
* Move task to "Shipped" when commit is merged to "master";
In our organization we have similar integrations with Clubhouse and that saves us a lot of time managing task statuses.
Zeb
Marcus Brito: Got it, thanks for the info! We are planning to do this with automation.

Same as in Jira integration - PR ID, Title and status are the most important also for testers
Adam Hodowany
Honestly, it's very important for us. Current GitHub view doesn't give us any value. I'd like to see a GitHub project with related Pull Requests
