Get rid of the new intermediary view for notifications in CU 3.0: open the task directly when clicking on notification

Why are we now looking at a special notification view of a task instead of the task itself? That view switches the comments to the left and the task details to the right which is the opposite of the normal task view. Other than being annoying because of the side switch, what is the purpose of this view? It offers no advantages. Just open the task when clicking on the notification, this is where the work happens, the comments come in and new dates & data are kept. Don't waste our time on an intermediary step that serves no purpose, please.

3.0 is in most of all really good. But it is about the surface of the Inbox in generally that I have to open the notification first now to see what is going on. Thats an additional click that was before not necessary and should not be necessary at all.
The Inbox that it now feels like an totally old school Email-Inbox, what makes me scream inside of me 😅
I just want to scroll through like in the 2.0 version and have a fast and efficient overview of what is going on and also when I let things open to handle them later to find them fast again.

Bring Back Notifications Functionality on 3.0 Update

The transition from the Notification feature on 2.0 to the Inbox feature on 3.0 feels like a regression. Not everyone finds the email view efficient, I know I don't. Instead of being limited to either Notifications or Inbox functionality, it would be great to have the option to choose between the two. I'd like to switch to 3.0 but I want to keep the Notifications functionality instead of being restricted to the Inbox.
