Fully remove custom task IDs

I'd like to be able to fully remove a custom task ID prefix from a space, and use it in another.
The specific issue I've had is that I accidentally applied a custom task id prefix to the wrong space, and now it is completely unavailable for me to use, which is annoying for a simple mistake.

Same issue here - so annoying there is no way to release a prefix that is no longer used anywhere!

Made the same mistake as Francesco -- used a prefix while testing something out during our workspace configuration. Now that I'm ready to use it with my team, I want to start from the top of the numbering sequence and I can't.

Sadly, I'm also experiencing this issue. I used Custom Task IDs to keep track of notable projects or tasks that require tracking. It would definitely be appreciated if this issue were corrected.

Same issue here, applied a custom task ID in a space I use for testing, I can't use it now in the space that we need. I also got rid of that space, still not able to use that prefix that is now used in a deleted forever space, which doesn't make sense. Please add the feature to fully remove custom task ID or the ability to use it in more than one location. Thanks
