Hello, we are also very interested in this feature: being able to create forms that generate documents, based on templates (for us it is to create functional specifications of projects from a submitted form).

Actually would be great if you can do both - 1. Create a task & 2. Create a doc of the form submission & 3. Attach the doc to the task & 4. as an extra option do something with the doc via automation (eg email as attachment)
As a design team we use the forms to receive design briefs and being able to have a shareable/printable version of the brief is required at times.
Considering the print a task option produces an unstructured/un formatted output then having the ability to have a doc created from the form submitted (where the data could be populated into a user defined formatted doc template ) would be fantastic.

THIS WOULD BE IDEAL. I was hoping to use forms for HR purposes. I could build in feedback, record of conversation, reviews, etc, and then submit them to be added to an employee's doc instead of a list of tasks. I've tried to do a workaround with Zapier, but it seems like CU doesn't allow anything to write to docs.
